Salary: $92,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements:

• Related bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 5 years of related experience, including technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Strong Java development background with Node.js
• Hands-on experience using code assist tools to generate base code and then customize and extend it
• Experience with unit testing, release processes, coding standards, documentation practices, and change management procedures
• Proficiency with version control tools such as GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, and Monotone
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working as a flexible team contributor
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Willingness to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Initiative and sound independent decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
• Adaptability in a fast-changing environment
• Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, or PHP
• Experience with HTML and frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, and Express
• Experience with SOAP and REST web service development
• Familiarity with big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NFI, and Scoop
• Database knowledge in SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Proficiency with standard desktop tools such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, and CA/EZTEST
• Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate options and present solutions aligned with business objectives and strategy
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources and formats, including flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, and JSON
• Preferred experience in domains such as healthcare or financial services
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

• Develop, program, and code information technology solutions
• Document detailed system specifications
• Participate in unit testing
• Support maintenance of both planned and unplanned internally developed applications
• Evaluate and perform testing of purchased products
• Build IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application and data outputs
• Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for other developers
